Katie Holmes Seeks Emergency Custody: Things Get Uglier

So it’s official. This is going to be one of the ugliest, most publicized divorces in our modern history. As sad as that sounds, it is most likely true. That was proven today when we learned that Katie Holmes, the actress who is trying desperately to get herself and her daughter away from Tom Cruise, is now looking for emergency custody. It’s one thing to file for divorce and try to get full custody. It’s another to try to get a judge to order that you get that custody RIGHT NOW. That’s exactly what the girl I used to watch on Dawson’s Creek is doing to the hunk from Top Gun. She is really pulling out the big guns. I even heard on “source” go on a rant about how harsh Katie’s lawyers are. It’s to the point of real ugliness. Apparently this is rare for a celebrity to do.
