What is the Volume of a Sphere | ArticleGoes - Free Dofollow Article ...

In mathematics we calculate volumes for various geometries that have definite shape and size like cube, cone, sphere, cylinder. But here we have to discuss about What is the Volume of a Sphere, to discuss it first of all we have to know volume and than sphere, volume is used for measuring any solid thing in three dimensional space. Whereas sphere is cylindric type shaped objects also in three dimensional space like a football, a cricket ball etc they all are said to be shape of sphere.

To calculate volume of a sphere the following formula is used

V=4/3?r3

here V is the volume of sphere.

pie is the constant.

And last r is the radius.

For calculating volume of sphere we must have r that is the radius and to calculate r there is also some formulas they are as:-

-In the case of diameter given radius will be r= D/2 where D is the diameter of circle.

?

-In the case of circumference given radius will be r= C/2? where C is the circumference of circle.

-In the case of area given the radius will be r=?A/?? means under root of all here A is the area of circle.

Here are some simple steps to calculate the volume of sphere

-First find the radius with the help of above mentioned formulas and if r is given than no need to find it.

-Secondly you have to cube the radius by multiplying it three times r*r*r.

-Third steps is whatever the answer you get during multiplying radius three times than you have to multiply that answer by 4/3.

lets take an example to calculate volume of sphere when radius is given.

-A sphere has a radius of 6.5 than you have to find volume of sphere ?

?

Given r = 6.5 cm

here V =4/3?r3 =

4/3*?*(6.5)3 =

4/3*3.14*274.625 =

volume of the sphere(V) = 1149.76cm3

that was the example when you have given radius lets see some examples when you don?t have radius.

-First example is when you have given the diameter that is 4 than what will be the volume of sphere?

So firstly find radius r = D/2

4/2 = 2 so here now we get radius that is 2

Volume of sphere (V) = 4/3?r3 =

?

4/3* ?*(2)3 =

4/3*3.14*8 =

volume of the sphere(V) = 33.49

-Second example is when you have given the circumference that is 8 than what will be the volume of sphere?

So firstly find radius r = C/2?

8/2*3.14 = 1.273 so here now we get radius that is 1.273

Volume of sphere (V) = 4/3?r3 =

4/3* ?*(1.273)3 =

4/3*3.14*2.062 =

volume of the sphere(V) = 8.632

-Third example is when you have given the area that is 16 than what will be the volume of sphere?

So firstly find radius r = ?A/??

?16/?3.14 = so here now we get radius that is 2.257

Volume of sphere (V) = 4/3?r3 =

4/3* ?*(2.257)3 =

4/3*3.14*11.497 =

volume of the sphere(V) = 48.133

So all examples describes that how should we calculate the volume of sphere in different conditions
